Who Run The World…Girls!!

 

First of all… Happy National Women’s Month to all! It’s been a few weeks since it was declared officially by other people on social media that it is now THE National Women’s History Month! Of course, it’s still celebrated right now, but I would want others to know more about this important month ( especially for us women/girls ). So let’s go!

As we all know, National Women’s Month is celebrated during the month of March for the purpose of highlighting the contributions and giving extra and needed attention to the amazing accomplishments of important tough and powerful women all throughout history. From our first female president, Corazon Aquino to our first and only female revolutionary general of the Philippines, Agueda Kahabagan or “Henerala Agueda”.

It is incredibly important for everyone to celebrate this month because in my opinion, it’s another way of showing respect towards the ingenuity of women. To be honest, Without women the world would’ve probably not be what it is today. An example of this is Marie Curie, the first and truly famous woman scientist who was awarded a Nobel Prize for her contribution to the field of science. Now who can say that women are not helpful to the makings of the early age of the world. None! Women have been in the same age as men. Yet they have been dismissed and ostracized; with women not being able to learn in school whose purpose is to fulfill her husband needs - to cook and clean and do household chores as men would take over the world. They were treated as sometimes a tool and a being lower than humans; a puppet whose strings are being controlled by a man - already seen as someone powerful and should be feared. But women did more than that. Women are now being recognized as a potential candidates for higher ranking positions in society as of today and we should be or own persons, no one should be able to control us now, we should cut off our strings and be able to move freely out into the world. They should be treated with love and respect like any other. I’m glad that the world then compared to now, it has improved drastically and that women are now doing what they want to do. As of now, they now would be regarded as one of the strongest, bravest and fun people to be with at any given time. As people say “Women aren’t to be trifled with, they are not princesses but Queens”

 Every woman has a story to tell so it’s up to this month to completely portray the gifts to share with the world; dedicated to her beloved ladies.
